The Torrey Pines Mesa Postdoctoral Training Consortium (Burnham, TSRI, UCSD) is pleased to offer the 3rd Annual San Diego Lab Management Symposium.
This two day workshop is a practical guide for postdocs and junior faculty on managing their research programs while balancing the demands of a new tenure track position. The sessions will be lead by experts in the field and faculty from the contributing institutions. Each session will have a formal presentation, followed by Q&A. In addition, several breaks, one hour lunches, and a happy hour with several postdoc associations have been included in the schedule in order to provide networking opportunities.

Enrollment is open to postdocs, grads and junior faculty from the Torrey Pines Mesa research institutes and other UC campuses, and is limited to 200 participants. The event has sold out each year so register early!
Registration
Early bird registration fee is $85 for postdocs/grads and $125 for faculty/others through November 30, 2008.
Regular registration fee is $100 for postdocs/grads and $150 for facutly/others starting December 1, 2008.

If you are paying by check, please make the check out to "UC Regents" and send it to Jennifer Oh at the address below within 7 business days of registration.
The recharge option is only for UCSD participants. If you select the recharge payment option, please enter the appropriate 7 digit index number in the field.
Registration will close on January 9, 2009. Refunds will not be permitted after this date.
Directions and Parking
From points south:
1. Take I-5 north
2. Exit La Jolla Village Drive
3. Turn left on La Jolla Village Drive
4. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Drive
5. Turn right on Gilman Drive
6. Turn right on Voigt and proceed to east campus parking lots
7. Park in lot 703. Permit is $7 per day and available for purchase in the permit machine located at the parking lot entrance.
8. From the lot, take the campus express shuttle to the Price Center. Shuttle runs every 5 minutes from 6am to 11pm.
From points north:

4. Turn right on Campus Point Drive
